about the artist - hand painted oil paintings of your dog.

Me and Lucy.jpg

For years, I've painted landscapes, cities, and people, but over time, I came to understand that painting a dog asks for something different. A beloved dog is never simply an animal. They become part of the emotional life of a family — a companion, a source of comfort, loyalty, and joy.

When I paint a dog portrait, my goal is not only likeness, but emotional feeling and connection. I want the painting to carry something of the spirit that made that dog unforgettable to the people who loved them.

Each portrait is painted by hand from photographs you provide, with careful attention to expression and character. Whether the portrait is of a living doggie or a remembrance of a deeply loved friend, I hope the finished work becomes something deeply personal and lasting.
